My First Fatbook Page Was Mailed Today

I'm attending the Art & Soul Workshop in Portland, Oregon in October this year. I decided to do something called a "fatbook" for the first time as a way to get to know a few people before I went since I'm going alone for a whole week. 

It turns out a fatbook is just that, it's fat, but boy is it little! That made the design of it all the more difficult. Imagine trying to design with proper composition, etc. on a 4 X 4 (yes, that's 4 inches x 4 inches). 

It also was just a few more than just a few people I'm getting to know. We had to turn in 24 pages of original artwork! It seemed exciting, and it was, but also a bit daunting.  Daunting because of the level of artisans that are participating. I am so excited about receiving my own completed fatbook at the workshop. It will be full of samplings of 20 different artists, all of them amazing. And hopefully, the start of something wonderful, my fatbook career!
